- Sow hardy annuals, herbs and wild flower seed outdoors
- Protect fruit blossom from late frosts
- Keep on top of the weeds and hoe around the borders and beds
- Roses will now be showing plenty of signs of life so start feeding with a feed such as top rose
- This month would be ideal time to consider turfing or seeding a new lawn. Also think about patch repairing and feeding established lawns
- If you have a greenhouse you can start to plant up hanging baskets as the first batches of patio plants have arrived. Just remember these plants are very tender
