Lavender is a flowering plant in the mint family that’s easily identified by its distinct, sweet floral fragrance. It's utterly beautiful, with it's striking purple colour, and is excellent for wildlife and insects, including bees and butterflies.
Lavender is believed to be native to the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and India, with a history dating as far back as 2,500 years.
Don't just have it in your garden though! At the end of season, Lavender can be dried and used to fragrance homes, and can even be used in some cooking and beauty products.
Lavenders can be purchased for 25% off this month (July) for Hilltop Rewards Members (not a member? sign up in store).
